Top Hreflang software tools

I have decided to have a look into the existing Hreflang tools and find their pros and cons. Here is an overview of all the Hreflang generators or analyzers which I consider the best.

Aleyda Solis Hreflang Tool

A very popular tool by Aleyda Solis. You can quickly generate Hreflang header codes. I recommend this tool if speed is of the essence for you.

Personally, my favourite tool for generating large Hreflang XML sitemaps. If you have a big website or a lot of language/country versions, this tool is for you.

SISTRIX Hreflang Generator

sistrix hreflang tool

Sistrix Hreflang tool is super easy to use. Unfortunately, it is not intended for larger websites with many language/country versions and it does not allow bulk upload. For individual URLs, one of my favourite tools.

Hreflang.org app is a testing tool. You can quickly analyze large quantities of URLs by submitting them manually or uploading a sitemap. Very quick and easy to use.

Merkle RKG

MerkleSEO Hreflang Tool

With Merkle RKG, you can use its built-in Hreflang sitemap validator or insert URLs individually. Moreover, you can switch between Google/Yandex, which can come in handy when targeting Russian speaking markets.

Flang Dejan Tools

A Hreflang validator recommended by Hreflang.org. This tool might not have as many features, but what I like about is tool is that the easier to use and faster it is. Perfect option for testing individual URLs after manually implementing Hreflang in the header.
